These Terms apply to all use of the Journya mobile application (“App”) and the website https://www.journya.com (“Website”).
By creating an account, downloading, or using Journya, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Journya provides a digital platform for journaling, mood tracking, and personal reflection.
Functions include text, photo, voice, and document entries; mood analytics; reminders; and optional paid subscriptions.
Services may evolve through updates and feature enhancements.
Users must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where legally required).
Accounts can be created by email or through third-party login (Google / Apple ID).
You are responsible for maintaining password security and ensuring the accuracy of your data.
Journya offers:
Free Plan – Basic features
Yearly Plan – CHF 49.95 / year
Lifetime Plan – CHF 119.95 (one-time)
Payments are handled securely via Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. or via in-app purchases on Google Play and Apple App Store.
Prices include VAT where applicable.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.
You can cancel anytime through your store account or by emailing in**@*****ya.com.
Refunds follow Swiss law (Art. 40a ff. OR) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU consumer rights.
Processing of personal data follows the Privacy Policy and complies with the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and EU GDPR.
Hosting: All user data is stored on AWS Cloud (Switzerland Region) and One.com servers.
Encryption: All sensitive information is secured with AES-256 and transmitted via TLS 1.2 or higher.
Payments: Processed by Stripe, PCI-DSS certified.
Analytics: If enabled, Google Analytics operates with IP anonymization.
Data processing agreements (DPAs) are maintained with each processor.
All trademarks, designs, and source code belong to Innopulse Consulting GmbH or its licensors.
Users receive a non-exclusive, personal, non-transferable right to use Journya for private purposes.
Any reproduction, resale, or modification without written consent is prohibited.
You retain ownership of your journals, moods, media, and notes (“User Content”).
By uploading content, you grant Journya a limited right to store and process it solely to operate the service.
Content is encrypted and private by default.
Illegal or abusive material may be removed without notice.
Users must not:
Violate laws or third-party rights;
Upload malware or harmful code;
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform;
Share accounts or bypass security controls.
Journya aims for 99 % uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Maintenance or third-party (AWS) outages may cause brief downtime.
Features may change or be discontinued with reasonable notice.
Journya may connect to:
Stripe Inc. – payments (stripe.com/privacy)
AWS Cloud / One.com – hosting
Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive – optional cloud sync
Google Analytics – usage statistics
Apple / Google Calendar – optional reminders
Each provider applies its own privacy policy. Journya is not responsible for external data once transferred.
You may delete your account at any time:
Via the App → Settings → Account → Delete Account, or
By emailing pr*****@*****ya.com.
Upon confirmation, data is permanently deleted within 30 days (see Account Deletion Policy).
Financial records required by law may be stored for up to 10 years (Art. 958f OR).
Journya is provided “as is.”
No warranty is given for uninterrupted availability, accuracy of analytics, or suitability for any purpose.
Users are responsible for exporting personal backups of journal data.
To the extent permitted by law:
Innopulse Consulting GmbH is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, data loss, or service interruptions.
Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the previous 12 months.
You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Innopulse Consulting GmbH, its employees, and partners from any claim arising from misuse of Journya or breach of these Terms.
These Terms may be updated to reflect service or legal changes.
Material updates will be announced via the Website or by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
Continued use after that date signifies acceptance.
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding conflict rules and the UN Sales Convention.
Exclusive jurisdiction: Zug, Switzerland.
For EU consumers, mandatory national consumer-protection rights remain unaffected.
